Collector/Reimbursement Specialist Responsibilities
The collector/reimbursement specialist works directly with a team leader to:
- Identify discrepancies in billing and collections
- Provide customer support
- Manage reimbursement activities
- Appeal denied and deficient claims
- Support the collections manager
- Review insurance denials
- Work with insurance providers to assist patients
