Customer Service Reps

In a clinical setting, a customer service representative position demands a balance of professionalism and technological savvy. Customer service reps are responsible for communicating with patients as well as third parties to update, verify, and distribute insurance information as needed. While corresponding with patients, customer service reps must maintain a high level of professionalism, obtain essential clinical information, and promptly address any questions or concerns. Furthermore, customer service reps serve patients in a healthcare facility by distributing surveys to improve overall patient satisfaction. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming calls and place outgoing calls using a multi-line system 
  • Maintain contact logs and gather caller data  
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns
  • Distribute patient satisfaction surveys via phone call
  • Process paperwork and update patient files 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience 
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center preferred  
  • Proficiency with word processing software
