Data Analyst I, II, III

Every industry needs data analysts, especially healthcare providers. Data analysts help to keep companies running as efficiently as possible by performing detailed investigations into all business practices. The data analyst will use information gathered from various resources in order to assess the status of the company and identify areas of improvement. Through a detailed mathematical understanding of the company, the data analyst will be able to help the company eliminate unhelpful practices and suggest better ones.

Data analysts will be given designations (I, II, or III) based primarily on work experience, but education and acquired skills will also be a determining factor. Less experienced analysts will be given more routine work and assist project leaders in researching and compiling data for reports. Those with at least a few years of experience in the field will have more autonomy and will be given more detailed analytic responsibilities. Those with a several years to decades of data analytics experience will oversee projects, identify areas of investigation, and work more closely with upper level management by providing data-driven guidance for the company.
