Pharmacy Technician 
 
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening with a United Health Group MSP (UHG) in 2118 East Overland Trail Abilene Texas 79601 
 
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician:
<ul>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Picking, labeling, scanning and otherwise preparing the finished prescription for final verification by a pharmacist 
	Responsibilities: 
	Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist 
	Assists in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure 
	Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label and store, as needed during low volume times 
	Packages materials and products manually 
	Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks) 
	Applies labels to blister cards and then scans product for accuracy check 
	Alerts pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly 
	Maintains designated workstation areas and replenishes all stock supplies needed 
	Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPPA 
	Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required and/or expected 
	Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code. 
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Physical Demands: 
	May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. 	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Schedule: Rotating 8-5pm and 11-8:30pm and every other weekend 
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.5in;">3 month contract to hire

Required Qualifications

<ul>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">High School diploma or equivalent
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Ability to work at a moderate speed
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.5in;">Possess and Maintain a Clear and Active TX Pharmacy Technician License issued by TX Board of Pharmacy
	<li style="margin-bottom: 0.0in;margin: 0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.5in;">Previous pharmacy technician experience
</ul>
