Medical Assistant 
 
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a&nbsp;Medical Assistant&nbsp;to fill an opening in&nbsp;&nbsp;Briarcliff Manor, NY. 
 
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:

<ul>
	<li>Prepares patient and treatment rooms; sterilizes medical equipment</li>
	<li>Rooms patients, obtains health history, and measures and documents vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, height, weight)</li>
	<li>Documents patient care and medical history using NextGen electronic medical record (EMR) software</li>
	<li>Assists physicians with minor, in-office procedures</li>
	<li>Schedules appointments, completes prior authorizations, processes medication refills, handles referrals, answers calls and completes necessary paperwork</li>
	<li>Performs CLIA waived testing</li>
	<li>Administers injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests</li>
	<li>Maintains all Practice Health and Safety Standards</li>
	<li>Complies with Medical Assistant Certification Procedure by becoming certified (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) within 9 months of employment</li>
	<li>&nbsp;M-Friday, 7:45am-5:30pm,&nbsp;Weekends 9am-3pm. **Availability based on office needs</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant:

<ul>
	<li>Medical Assistant Certification if possible (If not certified, must have minimum 2 years of MA experience)&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

	<li>Medical Assistant Certification</li>
