<h3>Job Summary</h3>

HealthCare Support is actively seeking an experienced Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse for an onsite ambulatory surgery center in Edmonds, Washington. This is a patient-facing role focused on pre-operative admissions, education, and post-anesthesia recovery care. The ideal candidate has strong PACU experience, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to perform rapid clinical assessments in a fast-paced environment.

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	Admit patients and prepare them for surgical procedures
	</li>
	<li>
	Provide pre-operative patient education and procedure expectations
	</li>
	<li>
	Deliver post-anesthesia care in the PACU setting
	</li>
	<li>
	Monitor patients during recovery, including airway, vitals, pain, and overall stability
	</li>
	<li>
	Perform rapid assessments and respond appropriately to post-anesthesia changes
	</li>
	<li>
	Provide post-operative education and discharge instructions to patients and families
	</li>
	<li>
	Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams
	</li>
	<li>
	Accurately document patient care and education per facility and regulatory standards
	</li>
	<li>
	Support occasional coverage at sister ambulatory surgery centers based on patient volume
	</li>
</ul>

<h3>Required Qualifications</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	Active RN license in the state of Washington
	</li>
	<li>
	Pre-Op and PACU experience (required)
	</li>
	<li>
	ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
	</li>
</ul>

<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	2+ years of Pre-Op or PACU experience
	</li>
	<li>
	Strong active listening and patient education skills
	</li>
	<li>
	Ability to make rapid clinical decisions in post-anesthesia recovery
	</li>
</ul>
