Shift: Monday- Friday with the availability to be able to close 1 night per week. Hours of operations is 7am to 6:30pm. 40 hours per week 
 
Summary: The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment provides assistance in the preparation and distribution of drug products. The Technician is responsible for preparing the prescription medications via use of the fulfillment system.  
 
 
Job Responsibilities: 
<ul>
	<li>Using Walgreens prescription data entry procedures and guidelines, processes new patient registration by entering data into appropriate system. 
	<li>Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders for processing. 
	<li>Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information, and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes). 
	<li>Resolves all data entry related exceptions. 
	<li>Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through different workflow stages with a focus on quality control. 
	<li>Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship. 
	<li>Clean and help maintain machinery and maintain an orderly work area. 
	<li>Resolves Third Party Rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. 
	<li>Provides assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the facility and those at other locations. 
	<li>Identifies and communicates issues to senior level staff as appropriate.

Physical Requirement: Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation. This position can be fast pace at times and require contractors to be on their feet throughout the day 
 
Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>High School Diploma or GED
	<li>Basic computer skills, typing speed of 35 WPM
	<li>Pharmacy tech license **Open to accepting trainee with a min of 1 year remaining on their license.**
	<li>2-4 years of pharm tech experience
	<li>Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk around facility
	<li>Ability to regularly lift 25-50 lbs
	<li>Works well with others and open to feedback
