Patient Account Representative 
 
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Patient Account Representative to fill an opening in Lebanon, New Hampshire. 
                                                                                                                                        
 
Daily Responsibilities for Patient Account Representative:
<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;">Must be able to perform essential job duties in at least two Patient Access service areas including ED.
	<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;">Verifies insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility, completes assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities, obtains insurance authorizations for scheduled & unscheduled Hospital services, and secures inpatient visit notification to payors. 
</ul>
Shift Details: Day and evening 
 
Required Qualifications for Patient Account Representative:

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;">High School Diploma or GED
	<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;">6+ months medical claims and or hospital collections and follow up experience
	<li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;">Thorough understanding of the revenue cycle process, from patient access (authorization, admissions) through Patient Financial Services (billing, insurance appeals, collections) procedures and policies
</ul>
