Float Pharmacist 
 
HealthCare Support is actively seeking to hire multiple&nbsp;Pharmacists&nbsp;to fill multiple openings in the Louisville Metro Area. 
 
Daily Responsibilities for Float Pharmacist:
<ul>
	<li>Must be comfortable giving annual / monthly&nbsp;vaccines&nbsp;to patients&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Have a clinical focus to ensure that patients are&nbsp;adhering to their medications.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Provide patient education&nbsp;based on how&nbsp;they’re taking&nbsp;their medication. Will also discuss any roadblocks on getting their medications refilled to ensure better compliance.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Possess&nbsp;knowledge of the pharmaceutical products&nbsp;and supplies kept in the department to be competent making recommendations to patients and prescribers.</li>
	<li>Receive verbal RX orders&nbsp;and accurately reduce to writing in adherence with State and Federal laws and regulations.</li>
	<li>Interpret, fill/refill, label and bag prescription&nbsp;orders.</li>
	<li>Evaluate appropriateness&nbsp;of RX orders with consideration to patient safety, and legal requirements.</li>
	<li>Provide drug counseling&nbsp;with customers and prescribers.</li>
	<li>Be familiar with&nbsp;third party billing&nbsp;and procedures, facilitate charge for customer.</li>
	<li>File prescription orders&nbsp;and records in accordance with state and federal regulations.</li>
	<li>Weekdays – Open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.</li>
	<li>Weekends – Open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10 – 5 on Sundays</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications for Pharmacist:

<ul>
	<li>Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy – new grads welcome but on the lower end of the payscale</li>
	<li>Clear and active KY Pharmacist License</li>
	<li>KY Immunization Certification</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications&nbsp;for Pharmacist:

<ul>
	<li>1+ years retail pharmacy experience</li>
	<li>Bilingual Pharmacist in English/Spanish</li>
</ul>
