Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Part Time 
 
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Float to fill an opening with a prestigious Healthcare Organization in Skagit, Whatcom and Northern Snohomish Counties. 
 
Daily Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Float: 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
	<li>Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and health screenings for patients across the lifespan.</li>
	<li>Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice.</li>
	<li>Prescribe medications and provide patient education on proper use, side effects, and lifestyle modifications.</li>
	<li>Perform minor procedures such as wound care, immunizations, and point-of-care testing.</li>
	<li>Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.</li>
	<li>Promote preventive care through health counseling and routine screenings (e.g., vaccines, wellness exams).</li>
	<li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer patients to appropriate specialists as needed.</li>
	<li>28 hours per week M, Wed. and Fri.</li>
</ul>
 
 
 
Required Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Float:

<ul>
	<li>Clear and active WA license</li>
	<li>1-2 years of experience&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 
Preferred Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Float:

<ul>
	<li>At least 1-2+ years of experience</li>
	<li>Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs</li>
	<li>Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness</li>
	<li>Understanding of Advanced Illness and end of life discussions</li>
	<li>Proficient computer skills including the ability to document medical information with written and electronic medical records</li>

Pay Details: $85.00 – $95.00 an hour
