Responsibilities

<ul>
	<li>Room patients, Obtain vitals, Medication reconciliation, Injections/Immunizations, EKGs, Phlebotomy, Lab specimen collection, Assist with minor procedures, Patient education, EMR documentation and providing excellent customer service
	<li>Updates medications, grab current health history
	<li>Will be calling patients to confirm information, scanning, filing, putting together reports
	<li>Admin duties - Confirm appointments, Call no-shows, Phone triage, Scheduling, Complete provider clinical tasks
</ul>

About the Team

Patient Volume 
Approximately 14 patients per provider per day. 
Visits are intentionally scheduled for 30 minutes because:

<ul>
	<li>Many patients require translation.
	<li>The organization places a high value on listening to patients rather than rushing appointments.
	<li>Initially, each MA will be assigned to one provider. This may change.
</ul>
 
Patient Population

<ul>
	<li>Rosen employees and their families
	<li>Majority are Spanish-speaking or Creole-speaking
	<li>Because patients (the Rosen employees) work in hospitality, they expect an exceptional experience so customer service expectations are extremely high for these MAs.
	<li>Candidates must be fluent enough to comfortably translate medical terminology between the provider and patient.
</ul>

 
Schedule 
Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
 
Pay - no flex in paying more while on contract. 
Based on experience:

<ul>
	<li>0–2 years: $17/hr
	<li>2–3 years: $19/hr
	<li>3–5 years: $19–21/hr
</ul>
 
Requirements

<ul>
	<li>2+ years outpatient experience, Primary Care preferred
	<li>Bilingual (writing and speaking)
	<ul>
		<li>English/Spanish or English/Creole
	</ul>
	
	<li>Phlebotomy - please put sticks per day on resume
	<li>BLS required
	<li>Non-smoker - this is tested for on the DT so please ask cannies on the front end
</ul>
 
Preferred

<ul>
	<li>MA certification or registation
</ul>
 
Cross Training

<ul>
	<li>Will rotate through:

	<ul>
		<li>Provider support
		<li>Laboratory
		<li>Pharmacy
	</ul>
	
</ul>
The goal is to cross-train everyone whenever possible.
