Radiology Technologist – Seattle, WA 
 
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Radiology Technologist to fill a job opening. This role is located in downtown Seattle, WA. 
 
Daily Responsibilities for Radiology Technologist:
<ul>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Skills in properly positioning patients to provide quality imaging.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Skills in training student technologists and co-workers in equipment operation and procedures.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Skill in trouble shooting equipment operation and performing simple adjustments. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area for radiography.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Knowledge of radiology equipment and testing.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology including equipment, body mechanics, and patient movement.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">The shifts are Monday to Friday, with operating hours from 7am to 5:30pm PST</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 8pt 0.5in">This is a 3-month contract-to-perm role

Required Qualifications for Radiology Technologist:

<ul>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Completion of course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 0in 0.5in">Current Rad Tech license with the State of Washington as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:0in; margin:0in 0in 8pt 0.5in">Current BLS certification required</li>

Pay: $40 to $44 an hour, dependent on experience
