Tim Ulmer
Executive Director of MSP Operations

Tim Ulmer joined HSS in 2017 as the Executive Director of MSP Operations. Prior to joining HSS, Tim devoted over 15 years to K-12 education where he was a teacher, behavioral psychologist, school and district administrator, and school improvement consultant. For the past 3 years, Tim has been the Vice President of Business Development for a private company that specializes in partnering with public school districts throughout the country to educate students with autism and other highly specialized learning needs. Tim’s primary responsibility in his leadership role at HSS is to support the high-performing MSP Team in meeting the increasing staffing needs of current and future healthcare partners.

Tim was born and raised in the south side of Chicago and moved to Colorado to attend college. Tim earned a bachelor’s in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. Tim enjoys coaching baseball, reading, landscaping, fishing, and spending time at the beach with his family.

Philip Wong

Philip was promoted to Director of MSP Operations on January 2018. He joined HealthCare Support as a Recruiting Consultant in February 2013 and transitioned into Account Management where he works with some of our largest clients by acting as a central point of contact and business advisor. His commitment to delivering results and customer service to both his external clients and internal team helped him transition to his current Director role. As Director, he is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, maintaining strong relationship with our MSP partners, and providing guidance to our Account Executives, Recruiters, and Support teams.

Originally from South Florida, he attended the University of Central Florida where he obtained a degree in Communications. When not at work, Philip enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Leah Bunyard

Leah graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2012 with a degree in English and is now approaching two and half years at HealthCare Support, working as a Key Account Manager overseeing the Provider Division with quality driven scorecard KPIs. Prior to joining HSS, Leah spent two years with a full service hospitality staffing firm as a Senior Staffing Manager and Branch Manager. Leah dedicates herself to providing the highest level of customer service — going above and beyond for our clients, contractors, and candidates alike.

Ralph Elefante

Ralph Elefante joined HealthCare Support in September 2015 as a Recruitment Coordinator. Since then he held the roles of Compliance Coordinator in March 2016 and then Compliance Specialist in March of 2017. In January of 2018 Ralph was promoted to a Client Relationship Coordinator for the MSP Division. Ralph is a graduate from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Minor in Economics.

Before joining Healthcare Support, Ralph worked in the Telecommunications Industry and spent time working for The Walt Disney Company. Ralph is originally from New York and moved to Florida in 2012 in search of warm winters. In his free time, Ralph enjoys baseball, visiting the various beaches that Florida has to offer, and taking advantage of the local theme parks.

Tammy Nichols

Tammy joined Healthcare Support in August 2021 as a Recruiting Consultant in the MSP Division. Prior to joining HSS, Tammy had an extensive career in healthcare in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and stress testing, chiropractic care, medical records management, and medical editing. She most recently exceled as a sales professional in the hospitality industry where she achieved her goals by offering superior customer service and by truly caring about the needs of her clients.

Originally from Illinois, Tammy moved with her family to Orlando in 2009 for a change of latitude. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Studies and master’s degree in Exercise Science, and from Purdue Global University with a graduate certification in Human Resources. In her free time, Tammy enjoys concerts, sporting events, and game night with family and friends.

Kathryn Lent

Katie joined the HSS team as a Client Relationship Coordinator in July of 2021. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Biology and BS in Education, with a concentration in Kinesiology. She prides herself on being a diligent worker with a keen attention to detail. She has experience working with individuals across all walks of life and enjoys building meaningful connections. By learning from those around her, Katie hopes to leave this world better than she found it. She loves brunch, road trips, cats, wineries, and anything outdoors. Her ultimate life goal is to hike all the US National Parks!

Felicia Cruz

Felicia Cruz joined HSS in April of 2021 as a Recruiting Consultant. Felicia’s background has primarily involved Hospitality Management for the past 8 years and she is very excited to utilize her time management, interpersonal communication, problem solving and goal-oriented skills towards her new position. She is always looking to learn something new and hopes her experience hiring and recruiting for the hospitality industry will benefit in placing talent back into the healthcare community. Felicia can best be described as a determined, kind and motivated individual. She was born in Bronx, New York and moved to Orlando, Florida in 2000. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2013 with her Bachelors degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Interpersonal Communications (aka, she loves to talk!). She enjoys dining with friends, spending time with her family and loves the beach on a sunny day (absolutely hates the cold and is cold 99.9% of the time). Self-development and personal growth make Felicia truly happy in order to be a better person for herself and a better mother for her son.

Abbigail Brown

Abbi has just joined HSS in 2020 and her title is Sourcing Specialist, but has been promoted to Recruting Consultant in 2021. She has worked in the staffing industry for the past 5 months but focusing on Information Technology roles. She has lived in Orlando for 15 years but left to go to the University of North Florida up in Jacksonville. Abbi studied Sociology with a minor in Psychology and has been very interested in integrating that with Marketing. She is interested in traveling, hiking, finding fun and interesting things to do, and watching Netflix/Hulu shows. Something unique about her is that she played soccer for 18 years of her life and she also loves to hangout with her cat Bean.

Sarah Walker

Sarah joined HealthCare Support in 2021 as a Recruiting Consultant. She has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, which she earned while also working full-time in hospitality roles. She has over six years of hospitality experience; this experience helped develop her skills in client relations, problem solving, and flexibility. She joined HealthCare Support to fulfill her desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Outside the office, Sarah spends time playing with her dog, exploring local theme parks, and relaxing on the couch while watching a true-crime TV series. She is lucky enough to have a lot of family in the Tampa Bay area where she grew up, so she also spends as much time with them as possible.

Rachael Burger

Rachael joined HSS in October 2020 as a Recruiting Consultant. Rachael graduated from UCF with a degree in hospitality management and worked as a front office manager for Marriott and Loews Hotels before deciding to make the leap into the world of recruiting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and playing with her dog, Lucy. Rachael loves reading mystery/thriller books and watching UCF Football – Go Knights!

James Hewitt

James Hewitt is an ambitious, outgoing, and diverse individual always looking to get better in life. He was born and raised in Kansas City Missouri and has been living in Central Florida for 8 years now. Full Sail University is what propelled James to move to Florida after graduating high school in Missouri. At Full Sail James Studied recording arts out of his passion for the music industry. Although he is no longer in the music industry, he still is involved in the entertainment industry through acting and photography.

As a professional Mr. Hewitt has sold, managed, and trained salespersons for some the biggest companies in the furniture industry. These companies include Ashley HomeStores, City Furniture, and American Freight. At every establishment James has had the pleasure of working at, he became a master at the entry level position and climbed the ranks. As of February 2021, James is now a recruiter for the gold team at HSS! He is super excited to join this amazing team and is looking forward to mastering the recruiter position and growing with the company.

David Jablon

David Jablon joined HealthCare Support as a Sourcing Specialist in December of 2019 and was promoted to Recruiting Consultant in March 2020. He majored in Integrated Business and minored in Finance while at the University of Central Florida. Roles within clubs and internships helped David aquire and refine his soft skills. He gained professionalism, sales experience, and inbound/outbound call experience while at his commercial real estate internship. He strives to make an impact in whatever task he is assigned. He is a hard worker who will make sure the job gets done. Three words that define David would be dependable, efficient, and initiative.

David grew up in Oviedo, Florida. He attended Jackson Heights Middle School, Oviedo High School, and then stayed locally and attended the University of Central Florida. He is a very analytical person who works hard in his studies, but also has many interests. He loves sports, whether playing or watching, and has been involved for years. He played high school soccer and has played almost every intramural sport imaginable at UCF. Being from the area, his family is only a thirty minute drive down the road. He spends time with his family and his golden doodle, Sandy. Something unique about David is that he has his real estate license. He plans on potentially using it as a hobby down the road.

Carson Guillory

Carson Blake joined HSS in 2021 as a Recruiting Consultant. He most recently worked at The Walt Disney World Resort as a Guest Relations Host and VIP Tour Guide. These roles in hospitality prepared him by learning great interpersonal skills and a high level of guest service. He hopes to help as many people as possible achieve their goals and reach their full potential. The three words that best describe Carson Blake is caring, diligent, and witty! He is originally from Jennings, LA, but moved from the bayou to the swamp and has lived in the Orlando area for the past seven years. He attended Louisiana Tech University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Marketing and Key Account Development. He is now currently attending Wilmington University for his Masters in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs. In Carson Blake’s free time, he enjoys candle shopping, catching up on reality television, and trying new restaurants in his area!

Julie joined HSS as a Recruiting Consultant in June 2021. Prior to joining HSS, Julie spent 15 years in the hospitality industry working in hotels and restaurants. She is excited to use the skills learned in the hospitality industry to make career goals become a reality for her clients. Originally from Long Island, New York, she attended the University of Central Florida (Charge On!), where she obtained a degree in Hospitality Management.

When she is not hard at work, Julie enjoys escape rooms, board games, and video games. She is motivated by her family and loves to travel.

Laura joined the HSS team in 2021 as a Recruiting Consultant. Prior to HSS, Laura worked at Walt Disney World in various roles, including Guest Relations and VIP Tours. These challenging roles allowed her to build both personal and professional relationships while providing superior service. She recently received her MBA and hopes that this knowledge, along with experience working for a large company, will translate into her new role with HSS. Laura has a BA in Communication from University of Cincinnati and grew up in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Orlando in 2016.

Three words that best describe Laura are disciplined, loyal, and empathetic. Her favorite TV show is The Office and her favorite movie is The Parent Trap (Lindsay Lohan version). She is a huge fan of Hello Kitty and all things Kawaii, pop culture, and enjoys being active with Peloton!

April McHugh joined HealthCare Support in July of 2019 as an Onboarding Coordinator. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service Administration. Prior to joining HSS, she worked in health information for a hospital in Colorado. Her goal is to increase her professional knowledge in the healthcare field while being a valuable part of the HSS team.

April is a native Floridian and is excited to be back in the Sunshine State. She enjoys spending her free time with loved ones and exploring the outdoors with her dogs, Duke and Brody.

Dana McKinnon

Dana McKinnon joined the HealthCare Support team in September 2018 as a Client Relationship Coordinator and was promoted to a Sourcing Specialist in July of 2019. In February 2020, Dana received another promotion to her current role of Onboarding Coordinator. Before HSS she worked as a selling specialist in retail for 4 years. Dana is originally from Michigan, but has lived in Orlando, Florida most of her life. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Behavioral & Social Sciences. In her free time she loves spending time with her son, watching movies, and going to the beach.
